Contest Rules and Contest Applications
Men who wish to enter the Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR & Leatherboy 2007 contest must meet the following requirements as laid out in the contestant application: |

For a contestant application for the Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR and Leatherboy contest, click the appropriate PDF file icon below. Complete the application electronically using Adobe Acrobat Reader, print the application, sign it, and submit it along with a photocopy of a state issued ID that includes your photo to the regional producer no later than Saturday, June 30, 2007. Applicants must also submit a digital photo of themselves to be used in the contest's printed program. The photo must be at least 300 x 300 DPI resolution and 3" x 3". Winners of each local contest should complete new copies of these same applications and return them to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Producer no later than midnight on June 30, 2007. Each applicant is required to provide photographic proof of residency, age, and ID (photocopy of drivers license or passport is acceptable). A digital photograph of no less than 300 x 300 dpi should also be submitted with the applications for use in both programs and advertising. Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR & Leatherboy 2007 contest categories and rules: |

The Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR and Leatherboy 2007 contest is broken up into four (4) categories. Each is judged separately by the judging panel in an olympic scoring system. There are seven judges on the panel. The highest and lowest score in each category is discarded and the remaining scores tallied. The scores in each of the four categories is then added together to acquire the grand total. There are a total of 1000 points available in the olympic scoring system after the highest and lowest scores have been removed in each category. In the event of a tie, the raw scores will be used (all of the scores are re-tallied without the removal of the highest and lowest scores). Each contestant will meet with the judging panel offstage on Saturday morning prior to the contest to answer the judges’ questions about the contestant’s interest in leather, BDSM and fetishes, knowledge, and willingness and ability to represent the title. |
Physique / Jockstrap |
40 (maximum 200) |
Each contestant shall appear onstage in body-revealing attire which emphasizes his best physical feature. Contestants must abide by local and regaional laws. These laws require that no person shall show any genetal or anal area in public. At least a 1" strap is required to cover the anal area. Jocks that do not have such a strap will not be accepted and contestants will not be permitted on stage in such attire. |
Fantasy |
60 (maximum 300) |
Each contestant will perform an onstage leather sexual fantasy that conforms to the region’s assigned “theme.” The onstage Fantasy shall be no longer than five (5) minutes. Points will be deducted from the over-all sum olympic score if the contestant exceeds the five minute time limit. The deduction is three points per second over the five minute time limit to a maximum of 300 points. Local and regaional laws require that no person shall show any genetal or anal area in public. While it is encouraged to illude to sexual acts, no actual sexual contact of any kind is permitted during the contest. Contestants that violate this rule will automatically be disqualified from the contest and asked to vacate the establishment. Each region within the ILSb circuit is assigned a theme for the fantasy portion of the competition. All contestants MUST utilize this theme. Failure to follow the regional theme will cause each judge to auto-matically deduct points at his or her disgression. The regional theme for the Mid-Atlantic region for the contest year of 2007 is "Head Space". This is defined as: Humiliation, puppy play, pony play, dog training, mind control, hypnotism play, or NOTE: "puppy" play, "dog training" and "pony" play are terms that refer to a human being that is acting out the role of the associated animal and taking on the personna thereof (such as a "dog" obeying and trying to please its master). They are NOT associated with beastiality in any way. |
Leather Image & Speech |
40 (maximum 200) |
Each contestant will appear onstage to introduce himself to the audience and briefly describe his background or interest in the leather community, while wearing the attire that bests represents his image of a LeatherSIR or Leatherboy®. It is not encouraged to expound on a political “platform.” The onstage Introduction shall be no longer than two (2) minutes. Points will be deducted from the over-all sum olympic score if the contestant exceeds the two minute time limit. The deduction is two points per second over the two minute time limit to a maximum of 200 points. |
